Heel pain
The acute phase of begins at the moment of injury and continues until the swelling and inflammation have disappeared. The swelling is the result of blockage of blood, interstitial fluid, and circulation in the heel as their normal movement is disrupted by the force of the injury. Like a car backing up, causing congestion, exhaust, and overheating; blood and fluid back up behind an injured heel, causing pain, inflammation, lumps, and swelling.
Massage the heels to relieve pain, reduce swelling and inflammation, break down clots and stagnant fluid, and stimulate blood and fluid circulation to help cells quickly repair damaged tissue.
